Community Hall Project 2024

For a number of years, we have been seeking a suitable location for a new Community Hall in Bere Regis, to replace the Drax Hall in North Street. Previous work, that fed into the current Neighbourhood Plan, identified a single site (Souls’ Moor) as the potential location for the construction of such a facility. However, since that work was undertaken, a number of wider planning issues have emerged, and although some of these remain unresolved, additional potential locations for a Community Hall have also been identified.

In July 2024, the Parish Council decided to seek the opinion of parish residents, launching a short survey at the 2024 Parish Forum, and giving the opportunity to vote for their preferences during the period from the July forum up to the end of September 2024. The survey is available here.
